Priestess of Dark

Qualifications

Must have undergone training until at least the age of twenty, during which time is spent in the Temple of Dark, running errands and visiting family. Are qualified when at least four current Priestesses agree they are ready.

Requirements

Must be biologically female, above the age of twenty, and trained under other Priestesses for at least five years.

Duties

During the year remain secluded in the Temple of Dark, though none but the trainee students know any of what they do during that time. Biannually, on the day of the Solstice Festival, they come out to meet the Priests of Light in between the two temples and give/receive the stone ornaments of Light and Dark.

Accoutrements & Equipment

On the day of the Solstice Festival, the Priestesses dress in black cloaks with hoods and the crest of the Temple of Dark embroidered onto the back. Hair is left loose.

Grounds for Removal/Dismissal

If one of the Priestesses of Dark commit any serious crime they have their tongue cut out and fingers cut off before they are taken away by the Monarch's Guard to prevent the spread of information. Only this or death dismisses them from their duties.
