Ashflies
These flies are a unique species that resides inside of one of the Titans, the Husk. They are spawn within and are controlled by the Husk.
Their sting is dangerous, and an individual can potentially kill an average person. When they sting someone, they inject them with eggs. These microscopic eggs remain under the skin. When they hatch, they grow into larvae for a certain breed of Ashflies, called Ashfly Hunters. These borrow out of the skin of the body they are inside, causing massive damage to the body. This condition is explained in detail in the Ashfly Egg condition.
Basic Information
Genetics and Reproduction
The flies themselves are not born through reproduction, rather artificial creating. However, the flies can asexually produce eggs which hatch into a sub-breed.
Growth Rate & Stages
A new group of eggs are grown every 24 hours, and hatch fully grown 2 days later. The hatching processed works so that every day a new group of flies are hatched. The group contained about 120 new flies.
They die after 2 days.
There will typically be about 240 alive at a time.
Dietary Needs and Habits
They get nutrition from the magical energy given off by the Husk. As long as they stay inside, they cannot starve.
There is no need for reproduction as the Husk generates its own stock.
