Citrine
Bishop
Citrine was a young Earth Genasi with traces of draconic ancestry that became part of the clergy for the Celestian Theocracy. During his time with the Faith, he rose to the position of bishop. However, he had a progressive mindset that caused him to be somewhat sidelined by the hierarchy of other bishops. In the end, he kept his rank, but was assigned as the governor to Uharhia, based in the regional capital of Djepesut. While in Djepesut, Citrine made himself known as a compassionate ruler and leader. He was well-liked by the citizens of the city and kept business and trade flowing by working with local guilds. It was certainly the most populous city on the subcontinent and surprisingly prosperous for the region by 1436 UE.
However, it was also in this year that attacks by demons began to ravage secluded areas of Asada, gradually spreading further afield until towns were also being struck down. Even with this knowledge, no one ever expected a city as large as Djepesut to be attacked. The market streets, warehouses, and many of the citizens homes were entirely razed. Citrine personally commanded the Aegis troops and palace guards to push back the demons and defend the people. He faced a dire sense of religious conviction in the aftermath of these events.
The following day, he encountered the adventuring Bad Luck Blitzkrieg party, who offered up information regarding the demon attacks and other plots involving Asada. After pressing for insight into where they had obtained their information, it was revealed that their source originated in Inner Jord, as had they. Citrine, feeling that Celestian's Will was at work in these events, decided not to apprehend them. In fact, he let them go with his help and blessing. However, he decided against giving back their book of collected secrets as it was just in too great a risk of falling into the wrong hands. He sent the party on their way and reported the book to his superiors in the capital.
This course of action, unfortunately, appears to have been his undoing. Whether there were spies within amongst his court advisors or the bishops of Tatanis read gaps within his reports, he was called up on charges of heresy as well as aiding and abetting heretics. Citrine was taken captive and transported to the capital for interrogation. Afterwards, he was brought before the crowd gathered into one of the old arenas. An offer was put forward for him to reveal the name of heretics he was hiding from justice. He remained silent and was executed by two simultaneous spear thrusts down into his chest through his shoulders.

Citrine was of average height and had a lithe build, though he mostly kept his body obscured with long robes.

Employment
After coming of age within the Church education system, Citrine took vows as an acolyte and worked as a scribe within the administrative offices in Tatanis. His compassionate nature moved him through his time as a priest and curate rather quickly as he made a major impression on his congregates and superiors. His elevation to bishop was welcomed, but his progressive ideals suddenly put his progress within the church to a stall. He was relegated to the subcontinent of Uharhia as a way to keep him within his position but also leave him in a place of little influence.
Accomplishments & Achievements
Attained the rank of bishop at a relatively young age and successfully governed a large territory with minimal aide. Citrine formed a new council with appointed advisors of multiple backgrounds and expertise to effectively govern Uharhia.
Failures & Embarrassments
Unfortunately, Citrine was unable to sway progressive reforms within the Theocracy during his time in Tatanis. Further, he was publicly shamed by being denounced and executed for aiding heretics.
