The Aumerle Family Arrive to America / Jeremie Meets Virgil

Upon the completion of their home, the Aumerle family make the move to America. However when they arrive, they are informed that a few delays meant that it wouldn't be move in ready for a few more weeks, so the family stays in the local inn in town.

It's there where Jeremie meet's the innkeepers son, Virgil. Jeremie knows little English, so the two boys have trouble communicating at first, until Virgil suggests drawing what they are trying to say. In the time they stay at the inn, Jeremie manages to learn a bit of English from Virgil, and he continues to visit him even after the Aumerle family is able to move back into their home.
