Nociception Regulator Implant

The Nociception Regulator is an Implant that dulls and regulates the Nociceptors, nerves that sense sources of pain, and carry the signal to the brain. This implant goes directly into the base of the Spinal Cord, and is attached to the nervous system. The implant itself is harmless, but psychological effects have been reported in some individuals. Notably when one is not mentally strong, the lack of external stimuli can cause almost scizophrenic states.

Mechanics & Inner Workings

Characters with this implant have +1 to their endurance score to a max of 10, provided they have an INT Score of at least 5 there are no side effects. If their INT Score is 4 or lower they are prone to psychotic episodes, and eventually full mental detachment from reality.
