Nemean Sub-Dermal Armor

The Nemean Sub-Dermal Armor implant is an extremely invasive impant sold by Medico, meant to help protect against physical trauma. More specifically it is a set of six surgically-embedded impants, with one behind each knee, on the inside of both elbows, one embedded in the center spine, and one embedded at the base of the cranium. These implants create artificial skin cells that are far denser and almost polymer-like, causing the patient's skin to become resistant to a great deal of physical trauma, including blunt force, duller knives, and even small calibers like 22 LR. The draw backs however, are many-fold, surgery is invasive and lasts long hours, recovery time is weeks, and then regular check-ups are required to ensure the new cells do not become cancerous. Common side effects include skin cancer if the cells do not form properly, and if they do form properly, patients can frequently feel a burning or itching sensation during the first several months as the new cells try to acclimate alongside natural skin cells.
