Personal history
Vincent was born and raised in the New California Republic. When he came of age he enlisted into the NCR Army and fought in the Mojave Campaign and the 1st Battle of Hoover Dam. During this crucial battle, he was noticed for his exceptional ability and put through training to become an NCR Ranger. In the Rangers, he excelled to new heights when given the freedom and initiative to complete missions as he saw fit and he benefited greatly from the Ranger's looser command structure.
However, during the 2nd Battle of Hoover Dam Vincent was critically injured and left for dead. Undetered he survived in the wilderness east of the colorado until he regained the strength to make the journey across the river, when he did he found the NCR presence in the Mojave in panadamonium as shortly after the battle the NCR Capitol Shady Sands was nuked by an unknown assailant. Seeing the writing on the wall and being believed dead Vincent chose not to return and wandered east until years later he would arrive in Boston.
