Sanctuary is the 2nd most populous city in the nation and houses people of all groups, Humans, Synths, Ghouls, and Super Mutants all live in this city and people from all walks of life roam its streets.

Government

The Federal Government runs the capital district, the rest of the city is operated by an elected city council that dictates laws and policy for the residents

Infrastructure

Sanctuary is equipped with modern and robust utilities and facilities. It has clean and well-maintained streets, parks, gathering places, and public facilities supported by a strong system of water purification and power generation.

Districts

Sanctuary is divided into 5 major districts: There is downtown, where most of Sanctuary's businesses and services can be found including Riverside Tavern, Salon Capital, the police station, the public market, Vault Co. Regional HQ, and other businesses catering generally to tourists. Next is Midtown, situated in the center of the island, home to the Capitol National Park, The Statesman Hotel catering to Representatives in the capitol, Long's Grocery a general store run by Marcy and Jun Long, and of course Sturges Garage owned and operated by the titular man. Midtown generally caters to sanctuary residents and government workers.
