Religiots

The Religiots are not an organization, this word is used in the Strivus (Roots) as a blanket term for those who do not believe in worship. They believe it is foolish, since Godhood can be reached through divine intervention or ascension there is no reason to consider the Gods to be superior. They merely admire the Gods as they would a person with great achievements if they follow them, and discourage the Gods whose actions do not align with their beliefs. Religiots are considered to be extreme and radical, being recognized as such may even brand you as the church's enemy depending on the faith. While the figures and organizations with this thinking are few, these folk can be found anywhere and everywhere. They are most often seen in Copulas, as religion is scarcer in those regions and worship is more often accredited to legendary warriors of the living. Ironically, they are often priests or champions of a deity.
