Gary Whiskers
An eager "young" lad hoping to become a Knight who serves as a squire. A sincere and dedicated man, he trains every morning and night tirelessly. He's vowed to serve under Griffith for as long as it takes for him to become a full-fledged knight. Unfortunately, despite his efforts, he seems to be fairly inept when it comes to handling a weapon. He's pretty sturdy, though.
The two make quite a pair when undergoing Griffith's "special training" sessions, which mainly involve Griffith wailing on Gary. This is not done out of malice, both indivuduals believe this to be the best method of learning how to fight.
