Drow
Drow, also called Dark Elves, typically dwell in the Underdark and have been shaped by it. Some drow individuals and societies avoid the Underdark altogether yet carry its magic.

Anatomy
Drow have black skin that resembles polished obsidian and stark white or pale yellow hair. They commonly have very pale eyes in shades of lilac, silver, pink, and blue. They tend to be smaller and thinner than most elves.

History
Descended from the original dark-skinned elves called the Illythiiri, the drow were cursed into their present apperance by the good elven deities for following the goddess Lolth down the path to evil and corruption.
