    Greenest in Flames
    Military: Skirmish

The characters awake to the din of chaos. The town of Greenest is under siege by a group of cultists and bandits. After successfully fending off attacks from the corners of Greenest, the adventurers find themselves meeting in the town square, some for the first time, others as known acquaintances. They battle their way to The Keep where the meet Governor Tarbaw Nighthill, some weary soldiers, and a fierce auburn-haired dwarf named Castellan Escobert, whose long ornate braids speak of countless victories in battle. Governor Nighthill informed them of two places of interest that required their immediate attention before being decimated by the raiders: the town mill and the holy sanctuary.   First the mill. The party encountered mild resistance at first, forcing the raiders to retreat back into the safety of the mill. But upon pursuit, they found that this was in fact a trap laid by the raiders who received warning of an adept party of adventurers within Greenest. Their haste almost led to their end, but they were able to defeat the bandits waiting in ambush and extinguish the flames engulfing the mill.   Next the sanctuary. Three groups of bandits surrounded the sanctuary trapping a score of townsfolk inside. Approaching with caution, the adventurers were able to dispatch the group guarding the rear door and make their way inside. They discovered a large group of scared townsfolk and a half-elf healer named Eadyan Falconmoon. They were able to escort the party back to the relative safety of The Keep.

    Mere of Dead Men
    Criminal Activity

The party arrives at the Mere and stumbles upon a lizardfolk camp. A quick skirmish erupts, but the party is victorious. They leave one lizard alive: Snapjaw. He tells the party of the castle in the Mere, of the cult that inhabits it, and of the bullywugs that treat the lizardfolk as servants. He agrees to lead them to the castle if they will agree to take down its de facto leader, Dralmorrer Borngay. They agree and set off for Castle Naeryter.   Once they arrive at the castle, they are startled to see an adult black dragon perched atop its ramparts. Two men emerge from the castle, Borngay and the Red Wizard, Rath Modar. They have a quick conversation with the dragon who accuses them of not "holding up their end of the deal." He then flies off. The group comes up with a plan to infiltrate the castle. They pretend to be prisoners of Snapjaw and make their way to the castle door. Borngay interrogates them, and they are taken to the dungeon. They escape and begin making their way through the castle to confront Borngay and obtain information from Rath Modar.   They come across both wizards in a room containing a teleportation circle. A fight ensues, and Borngay and Modar are defeated. Borngay is killed and Modar is captured. While the party was fighting the wizards in the castle, the lizardfolk were fighting the bullywugs outside of the castle. When the party leaves the castle, they see the remains of a bloody battlefield. They also find Hunter Solaria, the sorcerer they met in the Greenfields. He commends them for defeating the wizards of the cult, but says he doubts they get much information of their captive.

Return of the Dragon Queen (Almost)
    Disaster / Destruction

The party tracks the Cult of the Dragon to the Well of Dragons. On their journey they hear the almost imperceptible drone of the Drakkhorn signaling the return of the dragon queen of this real, fallen diety Takhisis. After entering the Well of Dragons, the party bears witness to the ritual meant to herald Takhisis's return. They move chamber by chamber slaying each of the dragon prists before finally tearing the Dragon Mask from Severin's lifeless corpse. Mere moments from leaving her prison in Avernus, the party is able to stop the ritual and close the portal to the hells, thwarting her calamitous return.   Regrouping with Hunter, he discloses that this event is just one of possibly several taking place simultaneously on various planes. He is not sure why, by it seems that the bonds that once held the queen of dragons have weakened across the realms, threatening to end each world across the cosmos if not stopped.   The party must now travel to Krynn, Hunter's homeworld, to see what has befallen it in his absence.
