General Summary

Session 2 The party arrives Gnomengarde to find out what is happening to Kings Gnerkli & Korboz and immediately run across a farmer in a large gnomish harvester picking mushrooms of various colors. She tells the party that her brothers, Orrin & Warryn, have gone missing. At seperate times of course. Orrin first. Then Warryn when he tried to find him. When pressed for further information, the farmer suggests that Luna has something to do with this. Every since gnomes started going missing, she's been appointing herself gaurd. Inside, the party makes their way to the kitchens where one of the cooks, Joybell, tells the party her theory of dopplegangers in the cave. "Trust no one. Especially, her," she whispers as she points to an older woman at a stove. Panana claims Joybell is crazy, but everyone is on edge these days. The party moves in to investigate the pantry where they find and kill some rats. The gnomes offer them some bread while they take a short rest to gather their thoughts. The group begins to make their way through the cave when suddenly they are bombarded by crossbow bolts flying through the hall. Ahead they see the culprit. There he is, sitting in some kind of mechanical spider, rotating wildly. Factore believes the party to be shapeshifters. Claiming to have seen Orrin eaten by a barrel! Several rooms later, the group finds a storage room, but one of the sacks is not just like the others. It's positioning is odd compared to the neatly stacked and organized boxes, barrels, and sacks. Thia pokes it with her longsword only to have it ripped from her hands by what is suddenly a sack with teeth and tentecals. The group, just barely manages to fight off the mimic and as it dies, it coughs up a pile of gnome bones. @sess
