Session 3: You meet at a tavern... again Report
General Summary
Your current party met at the Elfsong Tavern in the late morning, having received individual reasons to seek out Reya Mantlemorn, a Hellrider from the city of Elturel. She was supposed to have more information on the Cult of the Dead Three, whom she thinks to be linked to the disappearance of the Holy City and everyone inside it. She asked you to reconvene in the evening as she needed just a little bit more time, and told you to resupply yourself.
Downstairs in the Elfsong, you were hailed by a grizzled and confused dwarven druid who called himself Torimesh. He carried with him a sliver of tree bark with a figure that bore a resemblance to Varon (I guess you could see it if you really squinted your eyes?), and pressed you to follow him to Insight Park.
With some hesitation, you followed the druid, being taken to a hillside park in the Southeastern part of Brampton, overlooked by a giant tree with a red-veined white bark. Torimesh then introduced himself properly as a cleric of Sylvanus, god of the wild and nature itself. The tree he introduced as The Drawing Tree, and he claimed that a prophecy would be given to Varon if she said a prayer to the tree. However, the tree was not convinced with the heartily felt prayer, and Torimesh thought of a different way she might help.
The party was sent to seek out a cure for a dying tree over at Sorcerous Sundries - a store full of curiosities and magical wonders. As the party marveled at the singing beer steins, dancing wine goblets, and various useful potions, they eventually made a deal with the shopkeeper, Rivalen Blackhand, and went on their way. Following a lead from a speaking magical messenger bag, the party made a delivery to a mister Aladeen at the market, and decided to resupply themselves.
Eventually, they made their way back to a bustling and crowded Elfsong Tavern, where they met Reya and Richard in the middle of a fistfight with two ruffians - the last of the two crawling around on the floor as Reya towered over them, demanding their cooperation. As you quickly learned, the individual (addressed by Reya as Tarina) had been involved with the Cult of the Dead Three, and was able to pinpoint a possible location from where they are operating -- out of a bathhouse several blocks northwest of the Elfsong, with a walled garden, and a carved front gate: The Frolicking Nymph . That was to be the next destination.
