Fireshear
Fireshear is a large mining city that is responsible for much of the copper and silver of the North. The city is governed by representatives of three major mining companies: Hammaver House (based in Mirabar), the Silver Triangle (based in Neverwinter), and the Delvers of Brokenstone (based in Waterdeep). While the city is heavily dependent on imports, the harbour freezes over between late autumn and early summer. The city's large mines are thanks to a meteorite that fell to Toril long ago, opening up large ore veins directly to the open air.
