Boareskyr Bridge

Boareskyr Bridge is a bridge constructed over the Winding Water along the Trade Way, connecting Waterdeep to Elturel. The bridge is infamous for the assassination of Bhaal by Cyric in 1358 DR, during the Time of Troubles. Even by the late 15th century DR, the water near the bridge was still poisoned by the blood of Bhaal. The bridge is guarded by Fort Tamal, which is garrisoned by paladins of Elturgard based out of Elturel. By the late 15th century DR, a small village had grown up outside the fort near the bridge, providing a place of rest for passing caravans.
