The Saints of Time
Founded by Count Saint Germain in a place outside of time the Saints of Time acts as his eyes and ears in the mortal planes. It´s members are recruited from people who have become lost in time and seek to stop others form befalling their fate. Saint Germain will return anyone who seeks to go back to their own time, but he does extend the offer to join the Saints to anyone who is willing. Most join out of a sense of adventure, especially the ones who got lost exploring time.
The normal operations of the Saints involves locating a anomaly in time and closing it, as well as stopping anyone who wants to meddle in time. To close the anomaly they usually try to stop it from being opened in the first place. This is achieved by throwing adventurers at the problem and having them hit it till it stops. They also elect agents. Empowering useful people with cosmic magic and making them warlocks, this method is taken when a more covert touch is needed. The Saint rarely reveals their identity acting much more like a god than a patron, commanding their agents with a vague cryptic touch.
The actual Saints are a group consisting of six people. Their leader Count Saint Germain, second in command Saint Augustine, the rest are Saint Paul, Saint Louis, Saint Leon, and Saint Antonio.
