The Black Library

far into the Deep Ethereal Plane and hidden by its its tumultuous and ever present fog is the Black Library. A great tower emerging from the infinite realm constructed out of black stone and grey magic. The home of The Harlequins and their god Cegorach. The great structure is constructed out of paradoxical architecture with spiraling hallways, inverted stairs, and great halls of infinite height. Hidden within these halls is said to be infinite knowledge and the secret to divinity. Of course that is just a myth. The library actually contains far more dangerous things, rows of possessed ever screaming tomes, shadowy beings hidden in the recesses, and artifacts that if loosed could end a hundred worlds. The Black Library is the greatest repository of demonic and erudite knowledge.

The one problem is getting in. A veritable legion of Harlequins guard the library at all times patrolling its halls and guaranteeing that nothing gets in or out, but even more dangerous than the Laughing Dancers is the Laughing God. Cegorach, last of the Aeldari gods and the Great Fool, is the first and last line of defense against any possible intruders. He has used vast and terrible magic to hide the library within a great maelstrom of fog and magic, away from all who seek to find it. And if any would be tome raiders do make it through that storm, he comes out in person to dissuade them from entering.
