Nyspathungrol (Nyus-path-un-grol)

Found deep in the sewers of Waterdeep is the Black Dragon Nyspathungrol. He came to the City of Splendors years ago fleeing from a rival in the Misty Forest. He went below the city into its sewers and constructed a power base of kobolds drawn to his presence.

Now he acts as the slum lord for a number of buildings in the Dock Ward. He sends his kobold agents to collect rent and 'tribute' for him. This tribute tends to be of the sentient verity.

• Actuality likes Waterdeep street food and sends his minions to get some from time to time.
• He almost never leaves his home in the sewers.
• He delights in confounding people venturing into his section of the sewers.
