The Sword Coast has never been a safe place... It was built upon the remnants of clashes between dragons and giants, its civilization rising from ashes and returning to them just as quickly. The Netherese, Yuan-ti, Ancient orders of elves and dwarves, all have tried their luck at settling down, but all have famously fallen. Over time, empires, kingdoms, towns and villages have formed over these Forgotten Realms.
