Village of Barovia

The village of Barovia is ensnared in a dire predicament stemming from the malevolent actions of Strahd von Zarovich, a powerful vampire lord who exerts oppressive control over the land. The immediate and most pressing issue is the relentless siege of undead forces that Strahd has unleashed upon the village. Night after night, waves of zombies, ghouls, and other undead creatures assault the village's barricades, gradually wearing down the defenses and the spirits of the villagers. This onslaught began after a failed rebellion led by Doru, the son of the village priest, who, along with other villagers, attempted to challenge Strahd's dominion. Their rebellion awakened Strahd from a long period of dormancy, prompting him to exact a brutal punishment on Barovia. The villagers now face attacks from all directions, with the undead forces strategically assaulting different points to overwhelm the defenders.
