General Summary

Day 1 - 17th of Ches

The PCs settle in for the night and set up taking watch. Once it is dark everyone sees the sea crashing to the shore with an eerie sickly green glow. Stories say the green glow is caused by the hundreds of ghosts who have drowned off the coast. Kithmar explains that it is the phosphorescent algae and plankton getting churned up by the search. Several people on the various watches see glowing humanoid bodies beneath the water, someone thrashing beneath the water and bodies floating left to right in defiance of the current.

Day 2 - 18th of Ches

Erich and Lawrence stay at base camp while the rest of the party packs up supplies and heads the island to the western shore. The trip is uneventful with the only interesting thing was finding a hole used by several snakes, which they avoided, and a cliffside overhang which housed two Pteradons. The party kept quiet and waited to see what they did, the creatures flew off westward scanning the ocean for food.

As they look about a Quilen spots something large on the beach across the bay that is dome shaped. He cannot get many details as it is five miles away, but large enough to see it. He estimates it is 30 feet across. The party decides to continue exploring the Northern part of the island and eventually make their way there.

Day 3 - 19th of Ches

Selûne is in Full - First Day of Spring

The party continues up along the western curve of the island following to the tip of the peninsula. They encounter three more Pteradon nests and are able to keep clear of them costing a little more time in their journey. They set up camp in some nearby trees which are spaced further apart at this point.

Kithmar and (???) go a little further across in an hour round trip to see if there is anything of note there. They find the shipwreck of The Tattooed Lady. Most of the gear is long ago decayed, but they around some pitons in good shape and a small chest in the Captain's quarters. They use a knife to pry it open and find 21 gp, 38 sp, and 28 cp plus the ledger and personal journal of Captain Clarence Dalwood. A brief look through it and a longer look later reveals the last entry was 25 years ago. Most of the information is about personal notes about experiences in ports and contacts he made. Some may be relevant today.

On the first watch Astradia and Seraphina notice movement in the trees and realize they're monkeys. Seraphina encourages one to come forward and Astradia casts Speak with Animals. They ask the monkey some questions and learn they have not seen anyone like them in this area or anyone else. The party learns about local nuts and berries that can be found in the area which are safe to eat as a monkey brings them some as a gift.

Day 4 - 20th of Ches

The trip southward along the coast is without incident.

Day 5 - 21st of Ches

The party packs up camp and moves in a zig zag pattern going south. They find Viper Nettle bushes surrounding a small grove. The berries can be used to give Advantage vs disease or for healing (7 doses). Using herbs and plants found in the grove a slave can be made which will heal 1d3 HP when applied (18 salves). Near the end of the day they see The Bloody Doll. Margin and Werner go out to investigate. Werner swims out with a rope to the boat after a few slips on the rocks. He climbs up and attaches the rope so Margin can tightrope walk across to it. Werner warns there are some rotted floorboards and to be careful as he almost fell into one. The only thing of value obtained was a cast iron pot wrapped in oilcloth and sealed away from the ravages of nature. It is very ornate with decorations on the pot. It is likely a family heirloom passed down through generations worth 90gp for sale or much more to a collector.

Day 6- 22nd of Ches

The party WSW and shortly after they stopped for the heat of the day they encounter a clearing 50' in diameter with the area filled with dying plants. In the center is a bulbous yellow plant and two plant like humanoids in the area, not noticing them. The one in the middle is a Yellow Musk Creeper (plant) and the other two are Yellow Musk Zombies (undead). The party decides to get in position to attack when one of the zombies has a moment of amazing perception and alerts it's companion. The party fights the three monsters. Atrayu and two others are sprayed with a yellow mist of tiny spores. Atrayu is briefly charmed by the Yellow Musk creeper and soon snaps out of it, the other two resist being charmed. The monsters are destroyed. It is just past 16 bells and the party is deciding on what is happening next.
