As tensions in the empire and hatred for Eisna grow, both Lukan and Temerity must decide where their loyalties lie. Will Lukan uphold his sworn duty to the emperor, or will he follow the path he believes is right? And if he chooses the latter, will Temerity protect him... Or betray him to the emperor and possible execution?
