"Boy or girl?" Terilan murmured. His head was resting against Ellette's stomach, his eyes closed. "I don't know," Ellette laughed. "You know there's no way to tell. Which one are you hoping for?" Terilan thought for a bit. "Maybe a girl. A beautiful baby girl with your eyes and your heart. Or maybe a boy, with beautiful hair and... Still your heart. It doesn't matter really. Our baby will be perfect no matter what." Ellette smiled. For a few moments, she was quiet. "I think it's a girl," she said finally. She looked down at Terilan. "And I think it's already clear that she has both our hearts."
