Paku Lampley

In A Nutshell...

Paku is a Houndian that currently lives in Lilycove City. He originally was born in Valeville City, a location much further north in Wintergreen. He moved to Lilycove City to be near Tetra City for it's growing technology scene, being an avid robotics enthusiast. I mean, he even has two AI for roomates, Roy.ai(currently shelled as a Compact Vending Droid) and Fulton.ai(currently shelled as a Drone Aide). He claims to not have illegally obtained them. Nope. Not even. They're their own entities and they do things on their own and chose to live with him. Robo rights!
He's a friend of Kenny. They hit it off really quick, actually. They have a lot of similar interests! Mostly food and videogames. :P

So, what's his deal?

Paku is pretty introverted and shy, hanging out indoors more than out. As such, he stays pretty busy indoors, tinkering, (light) programming, videogaming, you know. Once he does open up, he's really a very chill guy. He's a bit of a nostalgia junkie, if the old Powerwing gear he's wearing isn't a dead giveaway. (The Powerwing is basically one of those early 3D graphic consoles, with a bunch of backwards comparability for the older consoles in the ZephyrGaming series.) Don't ask about the Powerwing around Paku unless you're ready for a text wall of enthusiasm. If there's anything he'll open up and talk your ear off about, it's retro gaming and robots... and vintage soda. He really likes the vintage sodas. So much to the point of engineering and customizing his own "soda droid" with it's own AI. (That'd be Roy.ai) Also! ...Woodgrain. Oh man, he likes wood grain. :P
He's a huge advocate for robot rights, too. He actually salvaged Fulton.ai from a Nazoma warehouse illegally breaking in and stealing COMPLETELY LEGIT and not stealing saving a life he was gonna be scrap, shhh!....... Seriously though, that was a close call for 'em. He nearly got caught and seeing as that place is run by a Gremkin, that wouldn't have ended well. Since then, the warehouse in question now tightened security and sends the robots for "processing". Since then, he actually modded Fulton.ai's shell with a mini Laser and some Force Shielding so that he can defend himself, y'know just in case (actually, it was because Paku thought it'd be pretty rad). So, now Fulton.ai helps Paku around the garage. Being a Nazoma Get/Stow Drone, he's got the tools for it, so Paku and Fulton.ai collab on a lot of things...
...especially Streetkarts~! Awww yeah, Paku loves Streetkart races to the point of buying his own. Took a couple credit cards, but he's got (most) of it paid for! Though, it's more a hobby for him to tinker with one, rather than actually drive it. He's not gathered enough courage to enter a competition, but he's gone out and giving it a spin in the Arkwild Field and for regular automotive transportation to meet with clients to work on what have you. So yeah! It's street legal!
And yes, this means that Paku is an engineer by trade. It pays well enough, but it's hard to find clients sometimes due to competition, so Paku's income is rather small. Paku works on cars usually, which he honestly loves to do! He's even got regulars, but again, the pay isss kinda... eh... really though, given his experience with FREAKIN' ROBOTICS, he could do more. It's a confidence thing. He's not taken the big leap, if you will. Maybe if he hangs out with Kenny T. enough, he'll brave up a bit?
