Dragonkin

There are many creatures of Draconia ancestry, commonly called Dragonkin, that are descended from True Dragons. Dragonkin usually lack the unique growth stages of True Dragons, or a breath weapon, and also commonly lack their high intelligence and innate magic. 

Most Dragonkin are believed to be the subject of Divine or Mortal experimentation on True Dragon eggs, as people throughout history attempted to mold Dragons into tameable soldiers, guards or pets.
