Tabaxi are a species of cat-like humanoids native to Exorsia. While they are relatively uncommon, they can be found all across Exorsia.
Tabaxi find it easy to integrate into cities and towns, but they are commonly stereotyped as selfish, making people wary of them.
There is a pride of Tabaxi that originates from Hepsut known as the Leonin, due to their resemblance to lions. The Leonin are nomadic hunter gatherers who worship the Goddess Mithra (
Helios). The pride is matriarchal, with a council of well-respected women making most decisions for the pride as a whole.
Appearance:
Tabaxi are slender bipedal felines with fur covered bodies, clawed paws, a tail and a maw of bladed teeth. Male and female Tabaxi tend to look almost identical, though some male Tabaxi have beautiful mains of hair, similar to a lion.
Fur: Tabaxi fur ranges from black, brown and ginger to tones of tan and grey, usually with spots or stripes of another colour.
Eyes: Tabaxi tend to have brown, yellow or green coloured eyes.
Maturity:
Tabaxi mature around the same rate as Humans, reaching adulthood around the age of 18.
Reproduction:
Tabaxi reproduce similarly to Humans. The gestation period for a Tabaxi is around 8 months.
