Hestia - God of the Hearth
Hestia is the Goddess of the Home, Family and Peace, she is also the patron of guests. Hestia is a kind and generous deity, striving to help all those she can through comfort and safety.
Hestia was the Demigod child of Aphrodite who was loved by all for her kindness, generosity and piety. She housed the homeless, fed the hungry, and adopted many children. When she died she was ascended to godhood and given domain over the hearth so that she may continue her work.
Hestia is more commonly indirectly worshipped than actively. Hestia is the embodiment of home life, caring for your homestead is a form of worship for Hestia, from providing for your family to being a good host for guests.
Hestia is also the embodiment of the sacrificial flame and receives a share of every offering or sacrifice made to the Gods.
