Asclepius - God of Medicine

Asclepius is the God of Medicine and the patron of Physicians. He is a serious and tireless deity, and a practitioner of pacifism.   Asclepius and his followers maintain a strict ethical code, forbidding violence and promising to help anyone no matter their background.   Asclepius was the Demigod child of Apollo who spent his life studying and practising medicine, making dramatic advancements in the field. When he died he was ascended to godhood and given domain over medicine, which was formerly a domain of his father Apollo.   Asclepius is commonly worshipped by Doctors, Physicians and those recovering from illnesses, for guidance or fast recovery.   Domains: Healing, Medicine, Pacifism and Rejuvenation.   Symbols: A Serpent-Entwined Staff and Snakes.
