Aasimar

Aasimar are an exceptionally rare species of angelic humanoids. They are rarely born naturally and are rather a mutation found in an existing species.
Aasimar are people who have been divinely blessed, this can come about in many ways. The most common way to become an Aasimar is to be born as one. This usually occurs when an Aasimars parents have a divine connection, such as being part of a religious group or a chosen of a celestial, which transfers to the child.
An Aasimar can also come about when a divine figure blesses a mortal with the intent of transforming them into an Aasimar, though this is far less common.
Aasimar can originate from any humanoid species on Exorsia that give birth to live young, though is most common in Humans due to their increased population.
The life of an Aasimar is not easy, with many hiding their true identities. While they are seen as a blessing and good luck they are also hunted by those who would wish to corrupt them or utilise their divine nature.

Appearance:

Aasimar usually resemble their origin species but with divine qualities, such as radiant skin, golden eyes, halos or angelic wings.
Complexion: Aasimar skin tones either match their origin species or take on an ivory, silver or golden complexion.
Hair: Aasimar hair colour is usually white but can match their origin species.
Eyes: Aasimar tend to have gold or silver coloured eyes.

Maturity:

The lifespan of an Aasimar is unknown, as the majority of them die early. Though many have lived for a few centuries without showing signs of ageing. Aasimar mature at the same rate as their origin species.

Aasimar can not reproduce.
