The Santa Diavola
The infamous ship, owned by the even more infamous Dread Pirate. A scourge of the Cesivium Sea, just seeing its black masts and ominous grey flags would send fear down the spines of sailors and pirates alike. Not to mention, the twisted, demonic maiden that was the ships figurehead, capable of breathing fire, or so the rumors say. Though, all those that could have vouched for this fact are most likely at the bottom of the ocean, within Tekarnamun's Keep.
During the Dread Pirate's prime, the Santa Diavola would attack any ship of value unfortunate enough to sail past. Within the past few years, however, the Dread Pirate seemed to not bother with his common prey. Some say it was because he met a beautiful maiden, others say, it was because he was trying to find his maiden. Whatever the case, the Santa Diavola, as well as the Dread Pirate, have not graced the Cesivium sea with their presence in almost 6 months. While no many know the true fate of the ship and its captain, that he died on his quest to claim the Saber of the Sea and his ship was left to rot in the Crags, many stories have sprung up claiming to have seen the ship marked by death on windless nights, sailing across the horizon.
It is said, that on rare occasions, Pirate Lord Bryn Iron-Wood will tell his crew whilst out at sea on the darkest of nights what truly happened to the Dread Pirate and his ship. However, they are sworn to never speak of it again, or the wrath of the Dread Pirate's ghost they will invoke.
