Religion of The Dark Path
Divine Origins
They were founded by a group of Priests and priestesses of the 10 led by High Priestess Lilith, during the upheaval of the Dynasty wars (sometimes called the 2nd war of Gods). They wanted to protect their people through strength of arms and law by any means possible.
Due to the fact that most of the founders were former followers and children of the more chaotic gods and goddesses. They were sentenced to Death for betraying their original deaties band The Executioner of the 10 was sent to kill them. Somehow they managed to convince him that their reasons were true to the 10 and that they had not betrayed the 10 just changed allegiances within the Pantheon.
He then convinced the 10 to let them live and continue their teachings, mostly by joining them.
After the Dynasty wars had finished many of the Fay deities stopped appearing to their followers in person, within Exills, including the founders of The Dark Path. The survivors moved to a place in the shadow realm called The Village outside of time, which was created by The Executioner. From there they continue to see to the safety of their followers.
