Heraldry in the Empire

The Empire still follows the old way of marking a person's career path with a disc over the left breast. It is considered a crime not to wear one.
In the centre will be the colour of the Kuran and the symbol of the Kazoku, the Religious group or organization that the person belongs to. around the outside will be the symbol of their career and colour marked for how far advanced they are through the path.
For craftsmen, it has 4 colours beginner, apprentice, expert and master.
For magic uses, it will have 9 colour bands for arcane casters and 7 for divine.

The military also wear the 4 colour combination as described for craftsmen, but they may also have their rank displayed, depending on the organisation.
Imperial military ranks are marked with a symbol in red for land, blue for air and green for sea branches. The imperial military troops have a purple border around there rank marking.
The 3 outer Shū's maintain a standing military to defend the borders and use the standard colour. The Teikoku no kage no shū military, also known as the imperial military is responsible for maintaining the internal policing of the main Imperial roads throughout the empire and protection of Teikoku no kage no shū.
