The first Stratton Duke of Ashkrim, Arthur inherited the title through his marriage to William Brindol’s daughter, Elizabeth. Ambitious and politically astute, he expanded the colony's borders but sparked tensions with the Rakash due to his lax enforcement of treaty terms. Though not a warrior, he brokered a fragile peace to delay open war.
