There is a traditional building style in Barranco which uses Marble in building construction. They are pure white and often with domes and columbs. This continues even thouigh the society is very highly technologically advanced. 

Culture

The Society is a high technology society but their society is mainly focused on food production and social stability. There is no oppertunity for society to influence the government as it is almost a separate group of people who run the country then from its citizens. The ruling class only concerntrates on Gwovernmant while the citizens in general concerntrate on improving the technology for agriculture and general wellbeing.

History

The country was formed after unifying in the 14 day war of 14722. The war was between Warloards of the Anco Region (present day northern Barranco) and the the southern Union of Knobility based around the fertile southern farmland and the Great Spyglass Lake. (Situated in the southern boarder of present day Barranco). The name is misleading because there was 14 wars all occuring on the same day which unseated the 14 knoble families of the south from their city states and brought about the creation of Barranco. 
Since the foundation of the country the Emperor has been run with an iron fist and under the full control of the enperor and the ruling court. It has provided some success with the advancement of technology being its great achievement but the time is coming where the people are asking for more representation inthe decision making.

Agriculture & Industry

The agriculture of Barranco is specialised in three areas. Greenhouse growing, Hydraponics and Genetic engineering. All these of these areas are highly developed in the country and alows them to export vasdt amounts of food to the region.

Infrastructure

There is a network of high speed rail that connects the main residential parts of the country alowing vast sub tropical forests to be traversed quickly with minimin damage to teh ecology in the region.
