Physical Description
General Physical Condition
Bald, patched left eye and green right eye looks and waves a fire opal right arm.
Current Form
Crystallized face peers down from a snake-like body as light plays across scales and through Fire Opal flesh.Identifying Characteristics
Fire Opal consuming their body and complete cover of head ( see: Mind-Inflicted, Permutation ). Left Eye of total white and singular dot of gold serving as the iris.
Right arm crafted of Fire Opal up to the shoulder till Permutation settled in. Head, right arm, and parts of the chest were Fire Opal when last seen. The enchantment allowing the arm to reform does not function for any part transformed by Permutation.
Current Form
No longer possessing limbs, the Permutation is seen on the head and in a continuous, unbroken length down the body. The enchantment functions on Permutation affected parts and the area once was an arm.Mental characteristics
Personal history
Born during the Dark Era, they were raised in a troubled time and learned to fight to survive. They had lost many friends and family from multiple threats of the time. An attack to their base, they lose their left eye to an invisible foe. This foe had been following their group for weeks and the survivors of this attack were far more than the last. Fretfully the base moved, whether it was madness or genius, they removed the eyes of a creature who can see the Unseen.
They convinced a doctor and reluctantly made a deal with a deity to replace their missing eye with this creature's. Opening their left eye for the first time would be the last time they were sane. The eye gave them an equal footing with many a creature to which they slew.
After the war, this eye came to be a curse. Seeing the 'Unseen' and memories of war let to them developing insomnia and paranoia. Daylight hours, they exhausted themselves researching 'Unseen' creatures and teaching students of them. Night falls they hope to collapse from the day's work and not sleeping walking themselves off a cliff.
They would continue to live out their years repeating this, till Permutation set in. Unfortunately, their right arm was closer to their head than their heart. Soon, they became a Mind-Inflicted then disappeared.
After Disappearance
Their body was reformed and life extended to complete the deal. Tasked with guarding an item from creatures deemed evil by the deity and those not Fate-Touched from using it. They remained with the item for several decades in a single location before it was discovered by various beings. The item passed through many creatures limbs with it's guardian trailing. It's recent owner has swallowed the item and uses the guardian. They ride on the back of a clever Dragon Turtle, who uses the guardian for many purposes while hoarding the item.Accomplishments & Achievements
"Unseen Creatures" Volumes 1 and 2 were finished.

Accepting a deal with another type of devil, a god.
Inability to finish Volume 3 of "Unseen Creatures"
Mental Trauma
Insomnia and paranoia caused by nightmares of the war and their left eye. Lack of sleep has them sleep walking and attempting to attack the 'Unseen'.
Personality Characteristics
Motivation
After the war, they researched, lectured and trained students over the Unseen. Attempted to record every creature revealed the eye and what the creature capabilities. They hoped their students would never use the skills provided, or maybe just never see the world as they do.
Current
Guard the 'item' from "evil" creatures and those not Fate-Touched. Retain mental note of various creatures for finishing Volume 3 and writing Volume 4.'Unseen' is used to describe creatures with invisibility and those on another plane.
