The Prophet

The Prophet is an enigmatic character first seen at the attack on Rivervale 

Appearrance

Very little is known about the true form of the being known as The Prophet. When last seen, they emerged from back the door of a temple in Felderwin Tillage , shrouded in dark robes. Their face hidden beneath a mask and the hood of their cloak, their voice echoes with a chorus of whispers. Their presence dims flame and chills the air, like a void manifest.

Personality

The Prophet is serene, enigmatic, and terrifying in their certainty. They speak rarely, and when they do, it is with layered prophecy and impossible foresight. Their allegiance lies not with any mortal ambition, but with a larger vision, the return of an ancient draconic entity or The Scaled Tyrant. To the Cult of the Caustic Heart , they are a hope and guidance. To others, they are a harbinger of ruin.

Background

Legends speak of a being who walked the Ruins of Draconia long before the empire’s fall, a forgotten wyrm-priest who communed with the bones of ancient dragons. The Prophet’s origins are obscured by centuries of death and shadow. They first appeared to Vaerixas in visions, guiding his hand toward the Draconomicon and the rituals needed to forge a new dracolich. Whether they serve Tiamat or some other forgotten draconic force remains unclear. What is certain: their arrival changed the tide, allowing Vaerixas to escape and pushing the cult’s plans into a darker, more desperate chapter.
