The Ifixian Empire
A medium sized country, The Ifixian Empire sits on the west of the continent, and is ruled by a very authoritarian government, figure headed by Alathar Ifix, the emperor who makes his home in the capital city of Anland. Because of the authoritarianism, the large city of Iquandra broke away, becoming a separate city-state in the year 1624.
After the War of Dragon and Man, Dragonborn presence was explicitly outlawed. In some cities where the empire has a heavy presence, a wandering dragonborn will be executed on sight.

The kingdoms are many miles away, and they have little interaction. The countries are peaceful, but the Ifixian Empire ever-so-slightly resent the Arak for being safe from the Dymeriian Expansion due to their location.
Non-Aggression Pact
When Iquandra left the empire because of the heavy restrictions, the empire agreed after a number of years full of political drama. Ever since the Empire and Iquandra have signed a treaty recognizing Iquandra as it's own nation.
Cease-fire
The Ifixian Empire is bitter, because during the War of Dragon and Man, the empire encroached on their territory and ended up claiming just less then half of their land.
