Project Super Secret Super Suit Commences

Summer 2021, Week 4, Tuesday midday

Genetech, Port Victoria

Fiora O'Connor

There it was, a dingy looking warehouse. Fiora pulled up her phone to double check the address, this wasn't the kind of place she was used to. She was used to a lavish penthouse, even the jeans she wore now were designer. She had to look good no matter what. Who knew if someone could be watching? She hated worrying about appearances so much, but she was an actress... they don't really get days off. Sunglasses are about as good as superman's disguise. Which should have been considered shit.   She owed everything she had to a man she didn't know, yet when she did meet him she would do anything for him. He saved her life. Everything in life is provided for her because he considers her and the other two he saved special. They weren't as high profile but their powers didn't necessarily need them to be. She could do a lot for the benefactor, he told her to... so she had to.   Fiora knocked on the warehouse door hoping that someone was in there. "H-hello? Mr. Clifford? Mr. Moore?"

Peter Clifford

"What in the world?" Was all that went through Peters mind. This man had been through a lot lately. Somehow surviving a situation most would die from. Then coming back to near perfect health to start his own business and within the week somehow not die of exhaustion. Therefore, he rubbed his eyes at the sight of one of the most beautiful girls he had ever seen. Thinking she was a mirage or some vision from tiredness. It was while she started back at him for a while he snapped back to reality.   "Oh, umm im Mr. Clifford" He scratched the back of his neck slightly nervously smiling. It was clear he had been working. His white t-shirt having sweat marks and his hands were dirty black. "But, urgh call me Peter. What do we owe the pleasure?

Fiora O'Connor

"Hi Peter, I'm Fiora. I'm here to commission you if possible, it will be a big task and I need your utmost secrecy regarding it." Fiora seemed a tad nervous, like she was running down a list in her head of what to say. She looked at him and smiled. Even for an awkward smile it still seemed put together. She raised her eyebrows. "So what do you say? May I come in?"   She didn't mind the fact that he was a bit disheveled, it was nice to see someone working hard for a passion, just like she was hoping he would help her do.

Peter Clifford

His face showed he was clearly tangled with thought. Why on earth would a woman like this be coming to him. With secrecy too? It was slightly strange. Though in his experience or the workplace everything had been. "Up the staircase and take the second door to my office. Do not. And I repeat. Do not. Touch anything." He ushered her out of the doorway and locked the door before cupping his mouth with his hand. "Andy! Get your arse in my office now..." Peter took a moment to realise just exactly how he sounded. "Please, if you don't mind" He finished with. Before following the female into the office.   The warehouse itself was a normal set up. With a second floor only at the back half of it. Lead up by a metallic industrial staircase. As she would walk through Fiona would see all sorts of advanced machinery that she would have no clue what they do or even an appreciation. The office was different however as she would see countless high tech computers, 3D printers and other typical design equipment.

Andrew Moore

Andy stumbles into from the office, headphones hanging from his neck, and Gerald sitting in his hood, a little shaken from the journey over. “Dude, what is so urgent? You know I was soldering some shit” He glances at the woman awkwardly standing there. He flicks his head towards her “Who’s this chick?”

Peter Clifford

As always it was his friends demeanour that made him smile. He never was one for formalities. "This is... Fiona? If I'm not mistaken you did not give a second name? She wants us to make something for a commission... top secret she says. So let's have it" Peter took a seat at his desk. He twirled around as he sat down before offering the simple chair to the woman.

Andrew Moore

”A top secret project? Does that make us like... fucking Q, now?” He glances over at Fiona. She looks prim and proper. Not the type to want the explosives and tech he’d likes, but one could ask “Is the commission at least somewhat a explosive in nature?”

Fiora O'Connor

"It's Fiora, replace the n in Fiona with an r." She looked between the men talking, not saying anything until she was addressed. "Not explosive but capable of dealing with explosives. An adaptable suit of some kind, one that is able to handle attacks by different evo traits, it must also have the ability to adapt to different body shapes."   She thought for a second and then went digging through her bag. "Before I forget..." She tilted her head innocuously, holding out a wad of cash. "This should be enough for your secrecy?"

Peter Clifford

The man smiled widely. His whole face seeming to gleam from it. "My apologies Fiora. As for the, urgh request. What is the reason for the suit? Don't believe you would need that kind of thing for your day job. Or to nip to the shops in. Whatcha gunna use it for?" He completely ignored the cash in her hands for now. Not even bothering to look at it for the time being.

Fiora O'Connor

Fiora blushed. "Well- it- um..." She thought for a moment, she probably shouldn't share but she needed their help. If they weren't interested in cash then maybe they would be interested in this...   "Pull up a picture of your girlfriend or boyfriend or celebrity crush or something." This would be a party trick but nothing too revealing. It could share enough without sharing everything. "I-It's important I promise. I need as much of the body and face that you can show me, alright?"

Peter Clifford

"I'm sorry I don't seem to carry pictures of you around in my wallet yet... Andy you got anything?"

Andrew Moore

Well the chick seems crazy. “Uh... I can pull something up on my phone, I guess” He pulls up the first picture of a human, a picture of his cousin “Do what you will”

Fiora O'Connor

Slowly, Fiora's face seemed to change. Fiora's face was now that of Andrew's cousin. "I decided to skip the body transformation, we don't appear to be close in body shape and I don't know their exact measurements-." Fiora smiled, her voice staying the same but coming out of this masculine face. Her face was now that of a man, a man familiar to Andrew.   "This is why. I can buy outfits but I can't buy physical protection from harm." She looked at the confused faces. "Don't worry, I don't do this for movies- that's all me." At that part she blushed and went to tuck a hair behind her ear, but didn't find any long strands to tuck.

Peter Clifford

At first he was slightly shook as he watched her face morph into another. Then his smile returned to his face. "Wonderful. Simply wonderful." He said when she has fully transformed. The abilities of Evos had always been crazy to him and even more so in the last week since he had powers himself. "You truly are a remarkable woman, Fiora. Yet, you still haven't answered my question have you? I want to make it clear. We are no arms dealers. I ain't about to make something for a criminal you hear? So what are you going to do with the suit? Pretty sure a film can afford a change of clothes for you."

Andrew Moore

Andy definitely had a different take on Fiora’s powers. His eyes went wide for a bit. “Man, and I thought my shit was wack. Can you please stop looking like my cousin?”

Fiora O'Connor

"Oh, sorry." Her face morphed back, her concentration stopped in the way of making her look like Andrew's cousin. "Um, well, considering I'm high profile that means if anyone finds out it can be used against me. I want to be prepared in every way possible, my manager had me ask you."   They didn't need to know about the benefactor. She didn't really know why she was getting this suit anyway, she just was told to by the mysterious man. It wasn't a lie what she told them, after all, that's pretty much what he told her... other than the fact it could help her train with her second powers which she hoped she wouldn't have to do. However the benefactor might want her to, and she had the duty to obey.

Peter Clifford

His smile was suddenly gone not doubt crept in. The lines of his face deepened and a frown appeared. "So, you just do whatever others tell you to? Not exactly the clientele were used to dealing with. Eh, Andy?" It was a lie, yet the way Peter spoke and acted showed no reason for the woman to see it as such. "Who is your manager anyway? How come you came here?"

Fiora O'Connor

"I don't do everything everyone tells me to but this will keep me safe. Is it bad to want that." She frowned. She did want to be safe and safety comes in obedience as well. She raised an eyebrow, her calm, innocent demeanor still shining through.   "I was told you were the best and I deserve safety. So please, just help me with this? I understand if you say no, but still, this is important to me."

Peter Clifford

He smirked at the compliment. Shrugging slightly. "Look, I mean no offence but as I said I ain't an arms dealer. If you go off and shoot the crown Prince of whateveristan and it comes back here that ruins my life. Ruins Andys life but most importantly... ruins this" He puts his hand out. "I didn't get into science for money, fame or anything else but, to make a difference. I plan to do the same here. So tell me, how will making you a suit help people?"

Fiora O'Connor

"If I stay alive I can continue making a difference in the industry. I can also start encouraging evo safety and giving safe places for young, confused evos who don't understand their powers. If they see me thriving, maybe that will give them courage. I can't help them if I'm dead. Evos don't usually make themselves know in the industry. I sure haven't. While I stay in new victoria I can plan for my next movie as well as educating others and myself. Maybe I'll be strong enough to physically save someone one day."   Fiora looked out the window, a bit sad. She missed saving people before, those at the research center. She was young and powerless, but the benefactor is teaching her to take back her power. Thankfully.

Peter Clifford

He scowled the whole time. His lips twisting as his head did. Unsure of what to really say or decide. "Saving people is the goal, eh? Well then maybe we can come to some sort of deal then. I'll make you a suit. Meanwhile, you help us. See, we're like you. Well maybe not exactly but..."   He looked off towards his friend Andy. Not sure as to what his reaction would be to reveal both their secrets to a woman they just met... but she had done the same. "If you really want to save people then maybe you can help us? If that's something you'd be willing to do?" It was silly he knew, to trust her. To let someone new into the thing he was building. Yet, that was who he was before. Trusting. He had to try to stay the same now.

Fiora O'Connor

"Oh, um... what do you need help with?" She was nervous now, she needed the suit but she couldn't think of anything she could do for them. Andy didn't step in, not yet, so how bad could the secret be? It was fine though. If she had to trust them, then they had to trust her. A secret for a secret.   Like... me? They were evos. She understood now, she had been a bit skeptical before at what Andrew said... but now she was mostly certain.

Peter Clifford

"It was then that Peter stood up. His chair moving slightly behind him. He smiled. Clapping his hands together, holding them and then rubbing them together. "Why to save the world of course" He laughed then grabbing his chair to sit down. "Nah, well kinda I suppose. To keep order. Protect people from those who want to abuse. Not just evos either. Criminals, gangs, crooked cops and even dodgy businessmen. Those in power want to keep the world as it is. Me? I want to make it better. So, are you with us?"

Andrew Moore

”I also want a challenge. This sounds like would be a bit more extreme than anything I’ve worked on before, but I’d love to take a stab at it.” Clothes would be interesting. Not a material he typically worked with, that was to be sure. Pete seemed excited, though

Fiora O'Connor

“I-I’d love to change the world for better... but how does one go about saving it all?”   Seeing Peter stand up was encouraging, he seemed positive that he could make a difference. Was it naive? She didn’t care, people said she was too. Maybe its a soft side that will help you rid the world of evil.   “But still, I will do whatever I can. Where do we start?”

Peter Clifford

The lad smiled. Slamming his fist into his desk and pointing to the new recruit. "That's the spirit, girl. Meet us tomorrow at the dojo. We will see exactly how you perform and what we all need to do to improve."   He smirked and looked to Andy "And don't be nervous. Andy here can hardly throw a punch." He teased but not allowing for a reply before turning his attention back to Fiora.   "Meanwhile I'll get to work on your suit. Not saying it'll be everything you ever dreamed of... yet. I'll see what I can do. I have some ideas"

Fiora O'Connor

Fiora nodded and then offered Andy a soft smile. "I have a feeling he is stronger than you say he is..." She paused for a second, letting the statement linger before questioning. "Tomorrow morning, Titan MMA I presume? I'll see you at 7."   She stood and walked to the door before peering over her shoulder. "I have a feeling the suit will be perfect. I'll see you tomorrow, Peter. Bye Andy!" And with that, she was gone. She was ready for the next day, excited to see what came.

Andrew Moore

"Right, I might not be able to throw a punch but I can make things explode, and that is infinitely better" He looks back at Gerald "I'll also let Gerald have a go at you. He's not deadly but some people find him to be terrifying" He smirks and jerks his thumb towards Pete

Peter Clifford

Peter waited until the woman had left. Sitting there with his smug smile the whole time with his feet on the desk. The lock was a simple switch from the inside so the woman could leave without him. After hearing the door close behind her his expression changed to one of shock. He turned to his friend. "I'm sorry man, you gotta make sure I'm not mental here. That just happened right?"

Andrew Moore

"I think so.... So did she just walk the fuck in or like? How did she know about us?"

Peter Clifford

"No clue, which is worrying. Though she did say I'm the best" He smiled smugly again and gave a little shrug. "I just mean like... damn man you know?"

Andrew Moore

"I do find it kind of worrying - I don't want to be known by some of the less scrupulous evos, y'know? I'd like to know who her benefactor is" He shakes his head, trying to clear his thoughts. "So, we really gonna make her this suit?"

Peter Clifford

"Might as well try I suppose. I have an idea really. You can manipulate matter right? Well some matter anyway. If I take an example of your blood I could reverse engineer it and try to come up with a solution to use with the material"

Andrew Moore

"Or, and hear me out here - we could try to find a way to not be jabbing me"

Peter Clifford

Peter smiled and shook his head. "Well if you have any better ideas then I'm all ears genius"

Andrew Moore

He sighed, and rolled his eyes. "No, I do not. You sure you don't want to sit on this for one more day?"

Peter Clifford

"Nah I'll send it across to England today so we can get them to analyse it ASAP then I can take a look at the data"

Andrew Moore

"I hate you and you owe me big time. You are least gonna stab yourself too?"

Peter Clifford

"Why? You got an idea of how to use my blood?"

Andrew Moore

He shrugs "You never know when it might be useful. Your quick-healing shit would be promising."

Peter Clifford

"You know is spent years trying to take it from certain animals. How would we use it? Maybe it's my body makes stem cells?"

Andrew Moore

"I dunno - tech that can patch itself up on the fly? Some evos might like that. I'm sure Hulk would like it if his pants would un-rip when he was done being Hulk. This is your area of expertise"

Peter Clifford

He rolled his eyes "You're talking nanotechnology now my man. Science fiction shit. I mean I'll do my best. Ask some contacts about the likelihood of us being able to make something like that but I doubt it"

Andrew Moore

"Great, as long as we're also stabbing you." He turns and heads towards to door, leaving Gerald on the desk to bother Pete. "I'll be working with the soldering iron when you need me"

Peter Clifford

After taking one long hard look at the beast they stood before him Peter knew he needed to answer his friend. Yet, he also needed to show Gerald who's boss. An epic showdown began. One that neither creature would back down from. A true legendary tale of man and beast. As eyes locked. It seemed like days, weeks and years passed by but it was only a minute or so. Eventually Pete's eyes let down their user causing him to blink and to admit defeat. Upon this was when Gerald decided to use Peters shoulder as a seat. Well, least they knew who the boss was. "We should have a prototype glasses by the end of week?"

Andrew Moore

Halfway down the hall, he yells back into the room “Yup. They’re not gonna help you win lizard-human staring contests, though. Gerald always wins, thems the rules”

Peter Clifford

All he could do was laugh. Which was annoying for several reasons. He's supposed to be the funny one and also Gerald sucks. "Yeah well, you better have it ready to show off bud. Oh, and you have also worked on our special versions?"

Andrew Moore

He laughed as well. Peter wouldn’t admit it, but the lizard was definitely growing on him. “I’m working on it. I’ll be working on it faster if you let me get back to work.”

Peter Clifford

"I just hope those damn signal boosters work. Don't wanna be in battle and have the chrome dinosaur appear when I need info"

Andrew Moore

”I hope so too, and I’m ironing out some of the kinks. Although a dinosaur made of chrome is a good idea”

Peter Clifford

He shook his head. How in the world was this man smart enough to make all this shit he had no idea. "Aight, chill. Remember to access the NVPD database and use that too"

Andrew Moore

”Way ahead of you! Now, do you have work to get back to, or is your day packed full of sitting on your ass and talking to mysterious pretty women?”

Peter Clifford

"I don't have any planned but I won't mind if some want to pop by"
