Personal history

Murv was born and raised in New Victoria after his family moved to America. He was raised with big and numerous expectations for his career, and his only real support came from his grandfather. Though he has a passion for genetics and genealogy, that didn't stop his parents from trying to direct his studies on attempts to reverse the abilities of evolved humans, blaming them for the hardships they endured in Russia. Shortly after his grandfather passed, his mental health began to deteriorate, and despite his parent's wishes could not continue to pursue his doctorate for the time being, deciding instead on practicing his profession.
The day Murv discovered he was an evo was the day he began to blink almost uncontrollably about, lacking focus and direction for his abilities. Fearing his parent's scorn, he has fallen out of contact with them, and continues to avoid contact with them. After seeing a reaction to a sample of an evo's DNA when he came close to it, he decided to further explore the reaction, discovering he could enhance or dampen abilities that an evo has.
