Personality

A joy to be around during the daylight, Kira finds that she loves being around people. She believes that everyone harbors a secret- a desire to do as they want tucked away behind societal conditioning and standards. Her goal is to not only survive, but to thrive in plain sight whilst committing terrible acts and atrocities behind closed doors. Though that isn’t to say she’s entirely unstable- Kira is the opposite. Rather than your generic everyday dollar store ‘psychopath’ she’s quietly manipulative and malicious, forging presumed long-lasting bonds with others before using manipulation tactics to coerce them into following her own life-path even if she ultimately believes she is the only one truly committed to it. When forced to reveal herself in the open she becomes horrifically violent and unpredictable, behaving more animalistic than human.

Minor: (M) Kira is able to manipulate a hand’s equivalent of biomass, shaping detached biomass like clay. / (A) Kira may absorb six gallons of detached biomass, or alternatively a finger’s worth of living biomass.
Normal: (M) Kira is able to manipulate an arm’s equivalent of biomass, shaping detached biomass like clay. / (A) Kira may absorb nine gallons of detached biomass, or alternatively a hand's worth of living biomass.
Kira is able to both manipulate and absorb biomass from living or recently deceased members of her species. In order to manipulate biomass she must be within 10 feet, and to absorb it she must be in physical contact. When attempting to manipulate the biomass of a living human, she is only able to move as much as she can control rather than sculpt or shape it. Additionally, she is currently unable to affect Enhanced Type individuals with abilities relating to their bodies. When absorbing detached biomass she has an easier time taking it en masse than she does with living biomass. Absorbed biomass melds into/onto her body while retaining its shape/type and increasing her weight accordingly. Despite being considered living biomass, Kira is able to manipulate or absorb herself as though she were detached.

Basic: (G) Kira is able to convert an apple sized portion of material into biomass. / (BB) Imbues biomass with the “grenade factor” of a firecracker. Requires a palm-equivalent of biomass.
Minor: (G) Kira is able to convert a grapefruit sized portion of material into biomass. / (BB) Imbues biomass with the “grenade factor” of a flashbang. Requires a palm-equivalent of biomass.
Normal: (G) Kira is able to convert a watermelon sized portion of material into biomass. / (BB) Imbues biomass with the “grenade factor” of a sting grenade. Requires a palm-equivalent of biomass.
Kira is able to convert materials into more biomass by consuming them and may imbue biomass with grenade-like effects. While eating she may convert materials into more of her biomass and absorb it into her body using her Type 1 ability. When converting she may form up to two “kinds” of biomass or a single organ, though the most complicated one she may form is a heart. In order to imbue she must be in physical contact. These effects are able to achieve biomass equivalent versions of non-lethal grenades, and may be detonated remotely as long as they are within Kira’s manipulation range.

Personal history

Kira had a relatively uneventful life. She was raised by two loving parents in Salem, was above average in terms of schooling, and took part in plenty of extra-curricular activities. Things were rather uneventful until she applied for her dream university of choice- the same one her parents had attended and met at. With stakes higher than anything else up until that point in her life, the crushing defeat was nigh incalculable when it struck. She hadn’t done enough. Seeds of doubt were sewn into Kira’s mind, though she still carried on and attended a local community college- telling herself it was to pick up classes for cheap and then transfer. The crushing defeat and pressure from her parents eventually weighed on her, causing Kira to drop her classes and pursue Crime scene cleanup as a profession. It was relatively easy- easier than sitting through boring lectures, though the job wasn’t exactly desirable. She told herself it was the money that made it all worth it, that what she was doing was right. Kira spent years cleaning up the messes of others, soaking up countless gallons of blood. Disappointment and scorn found themselves imbued into her soul when speaking of her job amongst family during holidays- something that came to a head after a total of four years of cleaning. After entering a ridiculously terrible scene Kira realized she was no longer repulsed by any of the sights her job provided her with almost daily. Pressure continued to build and eventually Kira disappeared from Salem entirely, though her body still wanders and leaves stains similar to those she used to clean.
