Personal history

Born to a Doctor and Executive in Massachusettes, Justin had an upper class life, along with more upper class expectations. The third child, he was expected to live up to standards set by his siblings. And he did. Top of his class, excelling at sports (even if they were the less athletic sports), and juggling half a dozen other activities, Justin was the perfect child when he was paraded around by his parents at social functions.
At home, the truth wasn't too different. Excluding off course the fact the only times he spoke to his parents were at those social functions or when they were correcting his mistakes. It was a decent life. It was decent. It was decent. It was disast--decent. Sadly, trajedy struck when his family, Mother, Father, Sister, and Brother, all died while they went out on a ski trip along with a portion of their staff. A terrible blizzard hit their home and only Justin--who for some reason was alone in a locked basement?--survived. Terrible fate. Just terrible.
With the money coming to him in the form of a trust, Justin put himself through the rest of high school, college, law school, and finished his Master Degree. He had a desire to defend the common man as a lawyer, a profession his late parents would surely approve of, rest their souls. Earning respect as a Public Defender in Boston, he took an offer in New Victoria as a partner at a private defense firm and started working there two years ago.
Secret: While there was indeed a blizzard, his family and staff died as a result of Justin's powers working for days while he was locked in the basement for 'speaking out of turn.'
