Personal history

Forge was born to a father who worked in the police and a mother who passed away in childbirth. Growing up with a single, disciplining father was difficult for her. She had no friends growing up due to her father’s wish for her to focus solely on her schooling. However, she was nowhere near as lonely then as she became when her father discovered she was an evo. Fearful of what would happen to his daughter and his career, he kept her room in the basement. He also began homeschooling her and helping her learn how to contain her abilities. On her 16th birthday, when her father believed she’d mastered her abilities well enough, he would begin taking her on walks through the neighborhood. On one of these walks, Forge and her father encountered a criminal evo. Her father reached for his gun, and a fight ensued between her father and the evo. Something inspired her to try and help her father, so she used her powers to try and hold the evo's feet in place so her father could get him. What resulted was the evo exploding a nearby car to get away. Forge’s right arm was severed below the shoulder and her face was disfigured. But the worst of all, her father was in a coma. After being treated, Forge escaped from the hospital and began using her skills to assemble a robotic arm. She ran with thieves, gangsters, and all manner of scum to provide the payment to treat her father. No matter how beaten or abused she would end up, she continued on. After a decade and a half, her father passed away. Angry and fueled by pain, she took to the streets, hunting her former employers.
