The sound can be sourceless or appear to come from someone else, and is 60 decibels from 15 feet away. E.g, playing a soundbite of a conversation from a movie roughly 15 feet away.
Normal: (Manip) Able to alter the volume of a sound by up to 60 decibels and alter the tone and pitch enough to sound like something completely different, the effect taking place as long as they are aware of the sound. E.g silencing an average conversation in a wider area, a banshee-caliber scream, making a professional singer sound like a cow. (Gen) Able to produce a sound remotely from a point he can easily hear the sound he produces. The sound can be sourceless or appear to come from someone else, and is 90 decibels from 15 feet away. E.g, produces a loud bell toll or a jackhammer sound.

Personal history

Clyde was a first-gen Evo in their family, a family very quickly broken before they were even born when their father learned the news he got Neera pregnant. She did her best to support herself and her baby boy, working multiple jobs and putting on a brave mask for each of them.
Clyde's abilities awakened one day in his childhood when his best friend got run over by a bus. His face twisted with anguish and pain, warping into a terrifying visage of a ghostly face as he wailed loud enough to be heard across the neighborhood. This prompted the UK equivalent of EHEA to warn him and his mother that if he didn't get his 'freak powers' under control he could get locked up for a long time.
Sometime in the 6th year of their schooling, Neera took a fancy to a man named Richard, and eventually was married to him after two years. Clyde's relationship with Richard was strained, mostly for Richard's angry outbursts when Clyde would talk back and show an ounce of defiance towards him. The second case of Clyde's restraint being shattered came about in Clyde's 11th year of schooling, when Richard berated them for identifying as agender, shouting the question "Do you want to be looked at like a freak?" Clyde's rage boiled over and twisted his features into a horrific and nightmarish specter that made nearby lights flicker, shattering light bulbs and windows as he made his voice shriek with the retort "I'm *already* a goddamn FREAK! This is the most fucking *normal* thing ABOUT ME!" Richard's eardrums popped from the sound, and the incident was reported by many people around.
In order to avoid being taken away by the UK EHEA equivalent, they have relocated to New Victoria with their mother, and once they have finished getting a diploma or dropping out they will be prompted to get a job, and will allow Neera to return to Wrexham.
