A woman tortured by time and pain, Aelin tries to be kind to those she crosses and desperately attempts to make up for the suffering she has accidentally caused throughout her life. Conflicted by her treatment at the hands of her captors and her self-detrimental attitude, Aelin seeks to reach a point where she can finally see herself in a positive light. This rut has defined her while on the run for years, but only recently has Aelin begun to come to terms with her sins and what was done to her in the past. Regardless, there is more to Aelin than just her past, and the kind soul has a surprising earnestness in reading and discussing fiction. Aelin has the ability to produce an energy that takes the form of an altered version of fire from her body and manipulate it within a field around her. She has dubbed it “Phoenix Fire,” and Aelin is capable of utilizing this different ‘fire’ in a number of ways. When produced, Phoenix Fire does not behave like a normal flame, and it appears ghostly white in color. Despite this, Aelin’s flames will burn at a similar temperature as orange flames- 1,100 degrees C or 2,012 degrees F. Alongside this color difference, however, Phoenix Fire differs from traditional flames as it does not suffer the same chemical fate of combustion, nor is it reliant on a source such as oxygen. It is purely made and controlled by Aelin, and can even stifle other flames due to its special effect. This effect is that Aelin’s flames consume chemical energy and heat just as regular fire does with matter. She is able to completely control which form of energy her flames consume as it can only consume one or the other at a time, but it is worth noting that Aelin’s phoenix fire can only drain so much heat as to bring an object to perfect zero: 0°C or 32°F. This is not to say it cannot spread across matter, however, as it can still move across matter if Aelin wills it to within her radius, but it will not consume any matter in the process. Its consumption effect is made more potent when Phoenix Fire comes into contact with either energy when it is created by an Evo, but the meaning behind this behavior is still unknown to Aelin. All of this is to say Phoenix Fire visually behaves similarly to regular fire, but is not quite the same. The rudimentary and raw control over Phoenix fire will fade after it is 20 feet from Aelin, but she can meticulously control it when within a 5 foot radius around her. Phoenix fire is able to be ‘broken’ and influenced by outside sources, and Aelin can erase any loose embers of Phoenix Fire at will due to her control over it.
Addendum 1: Aelin is not impacted by her own flames and therefore cannot be harmed by the temperature they produce.
Addendum 2: If Aelin’s Phoenix Fire comes into contact with fire/flames that are currently in contact with another Evo and subsequently are being controlled by that Evo, then Aelin’s flames will not be able to sap heat from those flames. This does not apply to loosed flames such as fireballs.

As simple as its title, when Aelin’s crown is active, her body is in general able to move faster than a regular human body, and she is able to sprint at speeds of up to 40 mph (64.4kph). Temperature Resistance
Resembling the resistance a phoenix can display, Aelin is able to passively withstand and live through temperatures exceeding that of a regular human. Whereas temperatures of 42.3 degrees C or 108 degrees F would be fatal to humans, Aelin can thoroughly survive temperatures of up to half that of what her flame produces- which is to say 550 degrees C, or 1022 degrees F. This also passes for the internal body temperature, as the aforementioned fatal temperatures are also the level at which are practically fatal for internal systems, but Aelin’s body temp can also reach the same level as she is resistant to without risk of injury. This is kind of a given, but worth noting explicitly. This aspect of Aelin’s power does not consume EP like the other buffs, and is a passive portion of her Queen of Fire ability. Strength
This aspect of the power simply increases the amount of force Aelin is able to produce with her body and what she is capable of lifting or holding. This allows her to lift and output a force equal to around a maximum of 200 pounds (90.7kg).

Aelin’s history is shrouded in confidentiality, and for good reason. Born to a family that was already under constant observation, Aelin’s mutated birth would spark the death of hundreds- as she directly caused a massive fire to break out in the ward she was kept in. The fire would spiral out of control until the entire building required evacuation, the resulting casualties within the collapsing building directly tied to Aelin’s birth. This incident led French authorities to isolate and contain her, no one the wiser since her parents also perished in that same hospital fire. For the next decade, Aelin would be locked away in a French facility- anything related to her care dubbed: “Project Fawkes” and kept secret to most. It would be here that she would learn life for the first time and grow as a child, but it was not merely a cell to keep others safe. The same scientists who watched over her were also curious as to what she could do. This led them down a path of testing and experimenting, Aelin’s powers growing more and more tempting by the day to harness. As she grew older, around 14 now, Aelin grew tired and angry from the constant experimentation and abuse. The scientists there had been working on her- their understanding of her power growing as they decided to touch what they had been merely viewing this entire time. So, they altered her DNA, and as such sought to impact her powers. They wanted to use her as a tool, the raw potential of what Aelin could do too exciting to leave alone. At 16 however, Aelin lost control, as you can only poke a sleeping dragon so many times before things go wrong. They accidentally pushed her power in just the right direction that she was capable of escaping, and Aelin only realized this in a desperate fit of anger against her captors- “incinerating” an entire guard detail and a handful of scientists by accident. This immediately sparked the survival instinct within Aelin, her desire to be free stronger than what most would experience due to the nature of her power. As she killed and fled, Aelin would eventually make her way back into civilization, choosing to take a new name and disappearing into the crowd as she grew older and stronger. Now out of France, Aelin seeks to right the wrongs of her past by helping others, and New Victoria seemed as good a place as any to begin.
