Sporspridare
Name means: Spore Spreaders
Their name stems from their reproductive strategy of releasing spores into the oceans. The spores are single-celled organisms that can survive long periods without eating. Once they detect a high concentration of nutrients, they will use their flagella to propel themselves to either the sea floor or the source itself. They will glue themselves onto a surface and begin dividing to form a vertical structure. With the nutrients from the vicinity, they will produce and release their spores from their top. Thereby continuing the cycle.br]
Sporspridare can often be found growing on the corpses of other organisms. To eat the carcass, the organism secretes enzymes that break down the organic matter into consumable and usable components. The Sporspridare will, however, miss some of the nutritious particles, which is not a terrible outcome since it allows more organisms in the ecosystem to prosper. Thereby giving the Sporspridares offspring more carcasses for consumption.
