The Monarchy of Everwealth, is often preoccupied with a multitude of pressing affairs which require their constant attention. Meetings with foreign diplomats to discuss a change in policies, determining how best to distribute the country's limited resources, or discerning appropriate solutions to their people's problems... ideally. With such prevalent distractions, especially now with the necessary strategic military organization required in this time of war with the Elfs, the government is in need of capable, trusted individuals to fulfill specialized tasks where the Government cannot. Be this in the form of The Arcane Coalition, who's Task Mages patrol their posts for all Magickal threats taking pressure off the local guards, The Knights of the Horns., specialized warriors of immense skill and renown who pursue dangerous missions such as the slaying of a vicious dragon which preys upon local townsfolk by the dozen, or other similarly daunting undertakings only they can undertake. The King and his advisors with all their present post-apocalyptic limitations, believe these matters are better off handled by external professionals. Whether or not these professionals take their oath of service to the kingdom seriously, and do not abuse their position of power to line their own pockets or undertake some other dark deed under the crown's brim, is another matter.
