"Behold, cast thy eyes upon it's shimmering splendor, thine Magnum Opus!"
Misery on Everwealth, is common as dense fogs across the plains and cold rains from the dreary gray skies. Suffering nearly ubiquitous as it is, leaves most folk bitter indeed, exhausted from the numerous cruelties the survivors of the Schism are now forced to face, lacking agency and basic necessities alike. The people here, are discontent to say the least, yearning for any levity from their numerous troubles, as such, escapes of many varieties are a frequent occurrence, even if they are sometimes hard to find. These escapes as mentioned are plenty, a flagon of mead to ease the mind, Elven calming herbs to relieve one's chronic pains, there is leisure just as diverse as Everwealth's frequent obscenities, and more often than not, the most consistently partaken of such escapes, are the arts. The arts, described by the Scholar's Guild as 'the expression or application of creative skill and imagination, producing works to be appreciated primarily for their beauty or emotional power to oneself or others'; unlike precision implements of the Lost Ages, can be enjoyed, or created, by any with the will to do so, even if some forms of Everwealth's abundance of self expression may be, violently, less appreciated than others. The arts common as they are, and diverse as the population is, may be found in many forms; Actors on the stage reenacting an oft-told story in grand spectacle, grand paintings of awe-inspiring landscapes, a catchy tune sang again and again to liven up dark, dreary work in the mines. Whatever forms of self-expression may catch your eye, relate to you, or invoke emotion, are up to your personal-tastes, so by all means look around, discover what makes you forget about the grim-circumstances you return to once your browsing is done.
