The Siege of Andrala

Alarms sound and church bells ring throughout the Velian capital. The army isn't finished being raised. Only the city guards stand between the Lowvires and victory, and someone left the gate open...

In a fit of either brilliant strategy or rampant stupidity, the north gate of Andrala was left open between guard patrols. Somehow, the Empire timed this perfectly and after taking only a few casualties (mostly of their Velian forces), they breach the walls of the city and march toward the palace; where the Infelds currently reside.   Accounts question who out of the Princess and the Margrave led the charge into the palace, but is no question about what they did in there. Walls and tapestries stained with blood, it seems the only corpses unaccounted for were the Infelds.   It's a disgrace. The Velian capital of Andrala- taken in a day.
