Omeranth Bows to Imperial Rule

Faced with a superior foe that began a siege far before Omeranth was even slightly prepared, the city leaders organize a surrender to the Margrave's authority.

Marching through the streets, Velian troops and officials are rounded up by imperial soldiers, resulting in a few outbursts and deaths of the men, but otherwise, the garrison of 150 is gathered and reluctantly bows to the superior foe.   The Margrave himself takes a small squad and makes his way into the castle and, after making meeting arrangements with the town officials, slaughters everyone who could have even slightly had reigning authority over the town.
